Stauffer, 4853 Riken

PLANT
For a long time, the heat was generated with a water-guided wood-burning stove. In search of an automatic system and out of conviction for the local as well as ecological fuel pellets, the Stauffer family found what they were looking for at Schmid AG with the RTB. The boiler offers a nominal heat output of 28 kW and provides even heat throughout the house.

Heat generation and hot water production for the three-story residential building. The power would also be sufficient to connect the studio (approx. 100 m²).

HEATING ROOM
The existing basement room was converted and expanded as a boiler room. A metal tank with a capacity of about 6 tons of pellets serves as pellet storage. The RTB pellet boiler is located in the immediate vicinity. This could be connected to the renovated Stack from the wood stove.

SPECIAL
The Stauffer family appreciates the noticeably even heat in the house and is particularly amazed at the efficiency of the RTB boiler. The pellet consumption is much lower than they imagined.
