At Sommerhalder Holzbau AG, waste wood from carpentry work accumulates daily. Since most of it comes from untreated wood, it is obvious to reuse it for heat generation.

HEAT ROOM
The boiler has been deliberately centered on two floors. On the upper floor, the wood can be filled extra deep and on the lower floor, in the actual boiler room, the ash container is emptied.
