SYSTEM
In an apartment building in Rickenbach/Wil, the existing heat pump was replaced with a highly efficient Adapt Max from Kronoterm’s 10035 series. Thanks to its high output range of 10 to 140 kW, the new system offers a significant increase in efficiency. With a SCOP of around 5.82, it achieves energy efficiency class A+++ in all climate zones. Another decisive criterion was the low noise emission of only 49 dB (according to EN 100102) and the use of the natural refrigerant R290.

APPLICATION AREA
The 11-unit residential building is supplied with heating and hot water entirely by the new heat pump. The existing heating distribution system could continue to be used.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Installation took just four days—using an unusual method involving crane transport over the rooftops of Rickenbach/Wil. Thanks to the pre-assembled modules, installation was particularly straightforward. The multi-award-winning design can be color-coordinated to match the building’s architecture.
