With a SCOP of up to 6.22, the ADAPT 2 air/water heat pump is one of the most efficient heat pumps on the market. This means: For every 1 kWh of electricity, the system generates up to 6.22 kWh of heat over the course of a year. This high energy efficiency ensures significantly lower operating costs and makes the ADAPT 2 a particularly cost-effective solution for energy-efficient heating in Switzerland. The heat pump can also be optimally combined with solar panels, energy storage systems, or existing heating systems, transforming your home into a smart energy system.
Natural Refrigerant R290
At the same time, it uses the natural refrigerant R290, which is particularly environmentally friendly and significantly reduces CO₂ emissions. The refrigerant R290 (propane) is currently considered one of the most environmentally friendly refrigerants for modern heat pumps. R290 has a very low global warming potential (GWP of just 3) and thus causes virtually no climate-damaging emissions. As a result, it already meets Switzerland’s strict environmental standards and is a future-proof solution for sustainable heating systems. Another advantage of R290 is its very high thermodynamic efficiency. Heat pumps using this natural refrigerant can achieve higher supply temperatures of up to 75 °C while operating with exceptional efficiency.
