SYSTEM
The old oil heating systems consumed 9,000 liters of oil per year and had to be replaced due to their age. In two apartment buildings, these were replaced by modern Adapt Max air-to-water heat pumps with 35 kW. In addition to their high efficiency, the decisive factors in the decision were the very low noise emissions of only 49 dB (according to EN standards) and the use of the natural refrigerant R290. The heat pump blends harmoniously into the building’s architecture in terms of color. Subsidies were obtained within the usual framework.

APPLICATION AREA
The two properties each have six residential units and are supplied with heating and hot water entirely by the new heat pumps. The existing heating distribution system will continue to be used.
