Our industrial heat pumps cover a power requirement of 60 to 3 MW. They extract energy from the environment (air/water/brine) and are particularly environmentally friendly, especially when operated with environmentally friendly refrigerants. Schmid acts as a system provider and can therefore put together, offer, and implement customized systems. This makes us a specialist in bivalent systems that communicate with each other and can regulate and provide the ideal heat demand at all times.

The Schmid wood chip heating system uses sensors to measure combustion and regulates the supply of fuel and air with pinpoint accuracy, thus ensuring optimum combustion. This means that even moist fuels up to M55 can be fed into the combustion process. Automatic ash removal makes the heating system low-maintenance. All relevant information can be called up and the heating system monitored via a touchscreen. If necessary, data can also be retrieved via Telemaintenance , which makes servicing extremely efficient. With automatic boiler cleaning, the filtered-out particles are returned to the ash container. A filter system is nowadays mandatory, but can of course also be retrofitted. For the wood-processing industry, waste becomes valuable fuel.
