Underfeed firing UTSP visio

The UTSP visio plant operates on the principle of underfeed combustion. The pellets are fed from below into a combustion retort made of high-alloy cast iron. The complete combustion chamber is lined with refractory material and ensures a high firing temperature.

The primary air is fed through the cast bars in the combustion retort, where it produces a quiet gasification of the combustion material. The secondary air supplied in the combustion chamber ensures optimum burnout and thus low emission values. Ash removal takes place via a burnout grate. An ash screw is arranged under the burnout grate, with which the ash is conveyed directly into an ash bucket or into a container.

The firing unit is completely surrounded by the primary and secondary air and, together with the effective insulation, ensures minimal radiation. A well-dimensioned 3-pass flue tube boiler is mounted above the firing unit.
